How to Register
To apply for press accreditation, please follow these steps:

Our team will review your credentials
Confirmation
Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration details
Badge Collection
Upon arrival at Fortezza da Basso, please visit the Press registration desk to collect your official badge
Press accreditation requirements
Editors and reporters employed in print, broadcast, or online media must submit one of the following
- An article with your byline, published by your news organization within the last 6 months.
- A valid National ID press card number identifying you as a journalist.
Bloggers should provide
Links to your three latest blog entries on topics pertaining to scientific research or space exploration.
Freelance journalists need to provide
An official letter of assignment from an editor, confirming you are covering COSPAR 2026
Others (e.g. historian, science communicator, etc)
Your Posts or books on topics pertaining to scientific research
Important Information
- Eligibility: Professional roles in marketing, sales, PR, or consultancy—as well as non-media researchers—are not eligible for press accreditation.
- Identification: A valid Press ID card or government-issued photo ID must be presented on-site to collect your badge.
- Embargo Policy: All media representatives are expected to honor COSPAR’s official embargo dates and times for scientific announcements.
